BTL is pleased to announce that its new email upgrade is a resounding success! All email customers are now able to access their upgraded email account which is now powered by Google. The transition to the new email system now offers users a variety of new applications and tools which will make their email experience an even better one.

In keeping customers well informed, BTL is providing all email subscribers with easy steps to follow that will ensure an easy transition to the new email system and continued use of the email service.

As a gentle reminder, all customers are asked to download their emails before changing their email settings to point to the new email server powered by Google. By doing so, customers will ensure that all emails received prior to the official changeover date, 11:30 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010 are accessible on their computer system. Once download of emails is complete, customers can then make the necessary changes to their email client settings which will grant them access to their new emails received after the changeover. Customers are informed that all emails being sent to their account after this date and time will be delivered to their upgraded mailbox.

In order to better serve the needs of all email users, BTL is happy to announce that it will continue to house all emails received before 11:30 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010 on the old email system. These emails, however, must be downloaded before customers proceed in changing the settings in their email client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook). email subscribers will be happy to know that none of their emails will be lost!

In order to access their upgraded mailbox, customers will need to log in to using their username and the generic password sent to each customer on December 24th. Upon first login, they will automatically be prompted to reset their password. For security purposes, a new password policy has been implemented which requires all passwords to be a minimum of 6 characters.
