BTL Launches Telephone Directory 2010
|
On Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010, BTL will unveil its 2010 Telephone Directory. Customers will be pleased to note that the Company continues to enhance the directory by making it more user- friendly, attractive, and informative.
This year the Directory Cover highlights the work of a first form student, Chu-Ling Kuo from St. John's College who is the winner of BTL's 1st ever Directory Cover Competition. In his painting, Chu-Ling brings to life the vibrant cultures of Belize. Each character depicted exudes his or her own brand of charm, and epitomizes the "Essence of Belize."
Furthermore, Chu-Ling goes on to capture other intriguing aspects of Belize, from the Ancient Mayan temple to the national bird, the colorful toucan. The viewer is provided with a remarkable insight into just how wonderfully diverse Belize truly is.
Based on Customer feedback, there will be a new format for the 2010 directory White Page listing. There will now be fifteen sections, one for each of the major towns and cities throughout the country and a section for each district which included listing for all the villages and areas which fall into these districts. This format should now make it easier for customers to find the listing they are looking for, particularly if they do not know the exact physical location of the resident or establishment they require a listing for. For example, if you know that the person is a resident of a village in the Corozal District area, but are not certain of the exact village, the listing will be found in the Corozal District section. It will not be necessary to search listings for each of the villages individually in order to find the required listing. In addition a new White Page Index tab has been added to further assist the subscriber.
This section compliments the other informative sections which have been included in the directory over the years including the time zone map, hurricane page, kiddie's page and a special tourism section, which this year features our Belizean Industries.
For the convenience and satisfaction of customers, aside from the full-size directory, a mini directory has been printed for DigiCell Premier Customers. The Telephone Directory will also be available online via BTL's e-Directory at www.belizetelemedia.net and www.belizeweb.com.
BTL's Telephone Directories will be available to customers on April 1st, 2010. Customers can obtain a copy from any BTL Customer Service Center. |
