BTL Unveils 2009 Telephone Directory

On Wednesday, April 1st, 2009, BTL will unveil its 2009 Telephone Directory. Customers will be pleased to note that the Company continues to offer a book that is attractive, informative and easily accessible to customers.
The inspirational Directory Cover pays tribute to the artistic expressions of Carolyn Carr. The painting "Meh Hand Full", which is featured on the cover, showcases the struggle that a Belizean woman, Roseline, experiences when feeding and taking care of her children. It epitomizes the strength and perseverance of women throughout the country. The Company's hope is that the cover will inspire young Belizean artists to continue to capture the essence of this uniquely beautiful nation.
This year a cultural theme is prevalent as the directory promotes the vibrant culture of Belize, with emphasis on cultural foods. The "All about Belize" section features a new segment entitled "Eating with us". It focuses on the main ethnic groups in Belize and highlights some of their traditional meals. Readers are provided with information on the Creole, East Indian, Garifuna, Mestizo and Mopan Maya cultures as well as delicious recipes from each group.
Another interesting addition to the 2009 directory is a time zone map which allows readers to determine the current time in countries world-wide. This will assist them in determining the best time to call friends and associates abroad. This is found in the information section which also features a calendar, hurricane page and kiddies' page.
Along with the full-size directory, a mini-directory has also been printed for DigiCell post-paid customers. Furthermore, the book will be available online via BTL's e-Directory at www.belizetelemedia.net and www.belizeweb.com.
BTL's Telephone Directories are now available countrywide. Customers can obtain a copy of the telephone directory from any BTL Customer Service Center. |
