BTL Inaugurates Princess Royal Park in Dangriga
|
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 – BTL today announced that the company will be holding official inauguration ceremonies on Wednesday, November 12th, 2008, for the newly renovated BTL Princess Royal Park in Dangriga.
The "BTL Princess Royal Park" was renovated under the Company's Adopt-A-Park Program. BTL has invested more than $100,000 to provide new benches, playground equipment, attractive fencing, accessible walkway, bathroom facilities, proper garbage disposals, an enhanced playground area and proper lighting.
The park is situated in a centralized area of the town and is geared to providing Belizeans and visitors alike with a clean and relaxing recreational facility. It is anticipated that it will be a sanctuary for wholesome, positive entertainment for many families in this community and in surrounding areas.
BTL's Adopt-A-Park Program was initiated in 1997 with the adoption of the "BTL Northside Park", Newtown Barracks, Belize City. Other parks which the Company has adopted include the BTL Placencia Park and the BTL Constitution Park.
The inauguration ceremony will commence at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12th, 2008.
