BTL Launches Breakfast Feeding Program at Bethel Primary School

Belize City, Belize, Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 - On Thursday, October 30th, 2008, BTL will hold a special ceremony at Bethel Primary School in Belize City to commemorate the 2nd year of the "Adopt a School" Program.
During this event the Company will launch a Breakfast Feeding Program which will provide a healthy breakfast daily to 30 students at Bethel. This will help to increase productivity and improve the attention span of these children.
In addition, the company will donate appliances and other items needed to effectively carry out the feeding program. These include a refrigerator, microwave, pantry, water cooler & bottle, and cooking utensils. Other contributions to the school will include a photocopier and new furniture for the Infant 1 students.
Furthermore, BTL will introduce twenty-five employees of the Company who have signed on for year two of the Mentorship Program. The program made a significant difference in improving literacy and fostering students' self-esteem during its 1st year, which ended this past June. BTL pledges its full support to the continued development of this ground-breaking initiative.
