BTL & its employees Donate to Flood Relief Effort

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008, Belize City, Belize - The past few weeks have been some trying ones for many Belizeans across this great jewel. The recent flood events which have affected thousands of our fellow brothers and sisters have left us all stunned as to what the powerful forces of nature can do in just a short period of time.
BTL, as a responsible corporation that is focused on giving to the community, is pleased to have joined with the rest of the country in contributing to the restoration efforts to assist those who are greatly impacted by the recent flood.
Earlier today, the Company pledged $10,000 on Love FM's morning show to the Cayo Disaster Relief fundraising appeal organized by the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) to assist in the nationwide recovery efforts.
Prior to this, BTL staff organized an urgent flood appeal, which encouraged employees to donate much needed relief items. The employees generously donated several boxes of food items and with the assistance of the Belize Red Cross, these items will be distributed to those greatly affected throughout the country.
The company was also pleased to offer customers a double day promotion on Monday, October 27th, 2008. This promotion allowed all DigiCell customers across the country the opportunity to gain additional credits to keep in touch with families and friends during these difficult times.
It is our hope that these efforts will bring relief to the many families affected.
The BTL family will continue to support and pray for our fellow Belizeans who are affected by the recent floods.
