BTL to Launch another exciting DigiCell service – DIGICELL SHOUT

Wednesday, September 24th, 2008 - BTL is pleased to announce that on Thursday, September 25th, 2008 the Company will officially launch its exciting "DigiCell Shout" service. This service will be made available to the general public through the collaborated efforts of BTL and local radio stations.
"DigiCell Shout" is a quick and easy means for DigiCell customers to SMS the Radio DJs to send requests and shout-outs to friends and family members. Radio DJ's are very popular in Belize and command prime time spots on the airwaves.
Many of the local music shows have a huge audience and often receive an overwhelming amount of calls which are often difficult for the DJs to manage. By utilizing DigiCell Shout, the radio stations will be able to have better control and more readily facilitate the requests from their listeners.
With DigiCell Shout, a DigiCell customer will be able to send a text message to the DJ or Radio Announcer at 10-10 XXX, asking him to say hello to a friend. The announcer will immediately receive the message on a computer screen and then be able to announce the message live on-air.
Radio Stations will be able to use this service creatively to enhance their programming with additional features such as conducting polls and having listeners vote on the top 10 songs for the week.
DigiCell Shout will provide a modern, interactive means of communication between the media houses and their audiences.
