BTL Unveils the New Look of Bethel Primary School

Belize City, Belize Tuesday, October 9th, 2007 – Belize Telemedia Limited will on Wednesday October 10th, 2007 at 10:00 am, proudly unveil the new look of Bethel Primary School. In June 2007 the primary school was officially adopted by BTL and was recently renovated under its "Adopt A School" Program which is aimed at uplifting the educational standards in Belize.
The improvements at Bethel Primary School include the provision of a new computer laboratory with new computers, free Internet access and furniture, a functional library and reading area, a new student/teacher restroom facility, renovated classrooms, and a security alarm system. The School was also fully equipped with a completely refurbished electrical system, new lighting fixtures, new fans and air conditioner. Renovations were also made to the existing school infrastructure and fence as both were extensively cleaned and painted. Today the school has a fresh new look and feel - both internally and externally.
During this adoption program, BTL will continue its renovation works to the school with focus on other areas within the school compound. Later this month the Company will launch its mentorship program where volunteer employees will assist by mentoring children at Bethel Primary School with the focus on improving reading and writing skills.
