Learn N' Phone

To further compliment the learning experience, on January 31 st , 1999 BTL introduced the Learn N' Phone program, which provides children with a safe and easy means of communication while at school and away from their families.

The learn N Phone program is fully subsidized by BTL and consists of a special payphone placed within the school's compound that allows children to have convenient and direct communication with their families when at school.

The Learn N Phone program is a part of BTL's firm commitment to improve the level of education and safety for all children in Belize. To date, 66 schools in the primary, secondary and tertiary level institutions have benefited from the program. The number of installations has increased yearly as more schools are applying to be a part of the program.
